This photo is of the center garden at Pembroke College Cambridge. The college was founded in 1347 and is the third oldest of the Cambridge colleges.

It is not "forgive and forget" as if nothing wrong had ever happened, but "forgive and go forward," building on the mistakes of the past and the energy generated by reconciliation to create a new future.
It's beautiful--so old,obviously. Appears to be a metal roof on the building on the right. A touch of modern architecture perhaps or am I seeing things?
